What We Offer
 CHARACTER AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: We empower young people to support and influence their community, sustain meaningful relationships, develop a positive self-image, participate in the democratic process and respect their own and other’s cultural identities.
 EDUCATION AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT: We enable young people to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply earning to everyday situations and embrace technology to optimize employability.
 HEALTH AND LIFE SKILLS: We develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals, and develop the skills to live successfully as self-sufficient, contributing adults.
 THE ARTS: We enable young people to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of visual, tactile, and/or performing arts.
 SPORTS, FITNESS, AND RECREATION: We develop fitness, positive use of leisure time, skills for stress management, appreciation for the environment, social, and interpersonal skills.
 The Youth Development Strategy
Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling:
A Sense of Competence - the feeling there is something boys and girls can do and do well.
A Sense of Usefulness - the opportunity to do something of value for other people.
A Sense of Belonging - a setting where young people know they "fit" and are acceoted.
A Sense of Power or Influence - a chance to be heard and to influence decisions.
When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps girls and boys achieve their full potential.
